The Dog Days Are Over...The Dog Days Are Done....

I feel fabulous.  Not quite as fabulous as Kurt, but perhaps Mercedes, which is a close second.
I like deciding that I'm making life choices.
I like even more when I'm  deciding to follow through with them.
I like getting money from colleges.

In the past two days, I have received scholarships and admissions from two schools, and was deferred from another.  The deferral, of course, was from the one I thought I really wanted to go to.  But the scholarships give me some options.  And I'm sort of excited.

At this time next year, I could live in Greencastle, Allendale, Lincoln Park/Chicago, or Pittsburgh.  I'll hear back from Ann Arbor in April.  But right now, it looks like Lincoln Park or Allendale (I'm refusing to consider U of M until I actually hear news from them one way or another).

But I'm excited!  I'm definitely going to a college next year!  And it might be out of state, squee!

As much as I love high school, this is going to be my least favorite spring semesters.  All the others were better.  So, just let me skip to graduation, okay?

Wait...do I want to be a college student yet?  I turn 18 in less than a month.  Good Lord, I'm scared to grow up.

There are Diseases, You Know

John Green should write a new novel: "An Abundance of Cool."  Because Bianka and I are just that.  So completely awesome.   You know why we are?  Because we go to B-Dubs.  And you know why else?  Because we go to the library afterwards.

And because we are currently talking.  Via facebook chat.  Yet, next to each other.  Well, we are at the library after all.  You're supposed to be quiet in here.  So, SHHHHH!!!

Bianka and I will be going for ice cream too, at some point.  She just doesn't know it yet, apparently.  Or maybe we'll go for a run.  Well, Axel and I will.  She'll just sit and watch, because that's what she'll do.  I prefer to run with a eight-inch metal rod over a person any day.  Well...maybe not.  I'm not sure if Axel is really much of a talker.  Maybe Bianka knows.  They're attached at the hip!  (Not exactly, more like the spine.)

For This is the Time To Rant

Often when I have wonderful days, I am exhausted by the end of them. Perhaps this is a sign of a good day? I'm not sure. Maybe all the being productive and socializing with people does that. But thinking about it, it makes me wonder why I want to veg out so much instead of having this great days all the time. But then again, if I had them everyday, they wouldn't seem so great, just typical. Perhaps I'm just resting up during all the days between great days. Because they're so cool. Who knows? That paragraph didn't make much sense.

I am currently facepainted, compliments of the lovely Bianka Rose Atlas Emaline etc... It's pretty, I like it. I wish I could wear it to the track meet I'm attending tomorrow. Maybe it'll distract some of the runners so that Novi wins!

Okay, I'm getting too distracted here. I need a new post.
